Joyce Abbott
A retired educator from the Philadelphia School District, Joyce has inspired countless individuals both in and out of the classroom. Her experiences have even served as the inspiration for the ABC sitcom, “Abbott Elementary.” Her stories and perspectives offer a rare glimpse into the life of a person who has truly made an impact on education.
Chrystopher Moultrie
A recent graduate of Morehouse College and currently at Stanford University, Chrystopher represents the voice of the new generation in education. His journey from a historical black college to one of the country’s premier universities provides him with a unique viewpoint on the educational pathways and opportunities facing today’s students.

Atasha James
The CEO of Legends Charter School in Prince George’s County, Atasha James will moderate the evening’s discussions. Her leadership and dedication to educational excellence have positioned her as a pivotal figure in shaping the future of education.
