Speaker applications for SBL 26 (August 5- 7, 2026, in Pittsburgh, PA) will be accepted from Jan 1, 2026 – April 10, 2026.
The Speaker Selection Committee meets in April to choose speakers. Due to the many applications received, only those invited to speak will be notified. Fifteen alternate speakers will be selected in the event that any originally selected speaker is unable to participate. Register for the conference and help us increase educator effectiveness and provide the tools necessary to help participants address all of the factors that improve student outcomes and help Black children learn.
