The State of Black Learning Conference 2026 is officially underway.
Day 1 brought educators, thought leaders, advocates, and changemakers together in Pittsburgh for three days unapologetically focused on Black students, Black learning, and building a better future for education.
From powerful connections and new ideas to courageous conversations about education, equity, culture, and leadership, Day 1 set the tone for everything to come.
The evening culminated with Dinner & Discussion featuring Dr. Cornel West and Shayna Hammond, creating space for an unforgettable conversation about education, justice, leadership, community, and the future of Black learning.
This is more than a conference. This is a community committed to moving from conversation to action.
