What is the Leadership Cohort?

An 8-month cohort experience to provide teams of educators with high-quality, culturally responsive professional development opportunities that train and equip school teams to improve educator responsiveness to systemic inequalities that impact Black students’ everyday learning.

October 2024 – candidate interviews

November 2024 – cohort accounted

December 2024 – cohort launch

February, May, and November 2025 – in person cohort retreats

January, March, April, June, July, September, and October – virtual cohort meetings and problem-of-practice consultations

August 2025 – SBL25 Conference
